How do foods compare in vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and other nutrients?
Choose a nutrient and Foodwatts Nutrients lists thousands of foods in order of the amount of the nutrient they contain.
For example, if you choose Vitamin D, Foodwatts Nutrients shows that per 100g, Fish oil, cod liver is at the top of the list with 10,000 IU of the vitamin, followed in second place by raw Mushrooms, brown, Italian or Crimini, exposed to ultraviolet light containing 1276 IU Vitamin D.
Of course, 100g of fish oil doesnt sound as appetising as 100g of mushrooms.
